GREETINGS FROM ALL THE 2- AND 4-LEGGEDS AT THE CARING FOR CREATURES SANCTUARY!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a challenging winter thus far with snow/ice damage to a number of our dog pen carports. We are in the process of figuring out just how we will reconfigure the dog pens in this particular canine area, but everyone is okay and dealing with the change of routine or pen assignment. Yesterday (1/16/2010), three Covenant School 6th graders organized a bake sale to benefit CFC and help us with the expense of rebuilding--this trio collected $350 toward the efforts! Thank you ladies from the bottom of our hearts! You are amazing!
We have solid adoption applications on pups AMY and CHARLIE and hopefully both will be in their new homes by January 23, 2010.
BLUE, a pitbull mix, has been neutered and will soon begin treatment for heartworms.
