Tiny Things in Great Packages!

Caregiver Ashley has found all kinds of "goodies" in the food bowls when tidying up the cat rooms...the bowls might have extra fur tufts, bloated pieces of what was once dry food or maybe even an insect or two! Imagine her surprise and delight when she found BamBam all curled up and napping in one of these bowls! A very new arrival at CFC, Bam Bam and her extended family from the Flintstone's group, are making themselves comfortable here on Campus. Come on by today and see why we think tiny packages are the best!!

I Think I Can!

I think I can. I think I can. It was hot and Randy thought he could!! After gingering testing, inspecting and giving a thorough sniff-over, mighty Randy finally took the plunge....into his backyard pool. With Diva, his girlfriend and housemate closely keeping an eye on her man, she quietly beamed from the sidelines as her man took center stage and was awarded a ribbon for extreme bravery! Just one of many training steps Randy is taking to get into "shape" for the October Walk-a-Thon Fundraiser,
Randy has his sights on raking in the big sponsorship bucks. Already, the competition is heating up with Millie and Leon strategizing and vieing for top sponsor dog. More from the competition later on..stayed tuned!

Puppies and More Puppies!

Oops!! Someone didn't get the email to wear their tan and white jacket for the photo op! No worries for super volunteer, George Tyler as he is already spoken for and has a home. Now for the other cutie-pies, they dressed appropriately for the camera lady and are actively interviewing for a new home. Sweet, cuddly and extremely playful, mom is a tree walking hound and dad is reported to be a low rising beagle. With ONLY six to select from, come on out and get your pick of the litter! Again...George is not available! LOL.

Laundry Room Floor at Scratching Post

The floor in the Scratching Post is able to finally bask in the glow of daylight. Normally covered with a mountain of dirty towels and it's view totally obscured, the floor can hardly believe it's good fortune. I thought I heard it gasp, "Wow, someone is actually walking on me and not just stacking the dirty -nasties on me. Ah..the feel of footprints on me, is simply too much to bear." A diligent team of CFC caretakers and volunteers brought such joy to the floor. Let's hope the floor can count on more "sunny" days to follow.

And Then There Were Five!!

Calliope has been working on a top secret project for the last several weeks. At long last, she revealed to all of us exactly WHAT she has been so diligently focusing on. Can you say FIVE kittens?? Delivered beginning of March, Calliope is busy tending to her multi-colored little furries in the Observation Room. Welcoming of visitors, Calliope has been a super mom as she dotes on her wee ones. Start thinking about which of the five little ones might be perfect for you!

Page 'N Kitties

Taking a break from the crazy office scene, Community Outreach Coordinator, Page Davis held an important meeting with clients, Suede (left) and Quinn (right). Topics at the round table meeting included having to share catnip mice with some newer arrivals, reserving the sunniest spot on their patio during peak hours and increasing the number of belly rubs they get each day. By the looks of things, the meeting went well and an agreement was struck!

Elroy's 3 Step Recover Program

Found wandering and neglected, this old gentleman beagle really lucked out in finding a soft spot to rest my weary bones and broken body. CFC has given me a new lease on life but I really need your help to completely restore my body to working condition. Mary and Team at CFC have scheduled a round of medical procedures so I can be at my best. The first round involves blood work & x-rays. Round two is dental work and round three is heartworm treatment. When we are finished putting me back together, I could easily have a total vet bill of 1,000!! I am worried about where the money will come from so I decided to create a chipin. Please donate if you can by going to the CFC main page. Every little bit helps... $1, $10, $110, etc and it all adds up. Spread the word and help get this old albeit terrific beagle back on the fast track!!
