Poor, Poor Jake

Times are rough and tough for poor Jake. He certainly looks like a homeless kitty to me. Maybe we can get someone to sponsor him? I mean he has erected a cardboard house using discarded suppies. Next thing you know, he will be sneaking into the T&E building, grabbing stacks of newspaper and burning them just to stay warm. I think I can hear him rubbing his furry little paws together even as I type. Did I mention, poor Jake?

Keeper of the Special Kitty Treats

Here at the Scratching Post, not only do I do an amazing job balancing on this holiday tin, BUT I am also in charge of distributing what's inside. Special cat treats reside inside and when I am feeling particularly benevolent, I gingerly lift off the lid and share the yummy delights with my roommates. If you look closely...or maybe you don't need to...you'll see I MIGHT have a few extra pounds on me, but I SWEAR it's not because I am treating the tin as a self serve eatery just for me!
